I read a few reviews of that play this weekend and I was stunned. I'm not sure if this topic was already brought up before or not because I'm new here. Anyways, I searched the entire net and all I came up with is the movie starring Emma Thompson, not Judith Light and I really really want to see Judith play that role! Is there any place or any way I can put my hands on that version of the play where Judith is starring? I don't think I can live with myself if I never get to see her as Dr. Bearing. :)
BTW, did anyone here get to see the actual play?

Hi Jessie_chan,
Welcome to the WTBR? family. It's always a pleasure for me to meet new people who love WTB? as much as I do. Hopefully, you will be able to visit the boards quite often :D
Judith toured the country in W;t in the fall and spring of 2000. The play opened in NYC, then moved to Boston, Washington, DC, two cities in Florida, before it closed in California (San Francisco, I think.). I saw the play in Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center. Suffice it to say, her performance and the play just blew me away. I had never seen her perform live prior to that afternoon. Honestly, I believe that live theatre captures the profound depth of her talent as an actress in a manner that is set apart from the way in which episodic television does. If you ever have the opportunity to see Judith perform, I highly reccommend it. You will most definitely not be disappointed. Unfortunately, as far as I know, no video tapes of Judith's live performances have ever been made (at least for sale to the public). However, if I hear or read something to the contrary, I will post the information here ASAP :D
