Hi Everybody,
my name is Ayla, I am 22 ys old and I am from Germany. I'll be going to College in MA as an exchange student starting next month.

I've been obsessed with WTB since I was 12 years old. I was fascinated with the chemistry between Tony and Angela, I loved the witty banter and the cute characters. I recently stumbled over this site and I absolutely love it. This is a great chance to meet and discuss with people from all over the world, something you never had a chance to when the show first was broadcast in the 80s.

I am really into FanFiction, there is some really beautiful work in these archives and I admire the people who have put so much energy into these heart-felt stories. Also a big thanks to the peple who took the time to transcribe the episodes. It's so much fun to read the dialogues in english (WTB is dubbed in Germany).

I am sure I am going to have a lot of fun on these boads and I am happy I found a place where people share my love :)

Ayla

Hi Ayla! Welcome! I am a regular on the WTB?R forums and I am from Germany, too. I am always happy to see new members from Germany here on the boards. Judith4ever and Corinna are also members from Germany and they come around here quite often. So you see we are not alone! :) I am a 25 year old university student training to be an English and History teacher. Since you have loved WTB? for a long time, you have definitely come to the right place, because everything about WTB? is discussed and analysed here! I am looking forward to your input on the forums.

Lots of love and "Viel Glück", snowflake

@all: Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody. I love the friendly atmosphere you create here. I so much enjoy being a part of it. :D

I've got a question though, which might be off-topic, but I am note sure if it's worth opening an own topic. Why is the last episode called "Savor the Veal"? I turned my dictionary upside down but I couldn't find any other meaning for veal than... meat :)

madewy: I am so looking forward to it already, though my friends and family are starting to show first signs of depression ;)... have you ever been to Northampton?

Take care, everybody
Ayla

Ayla,

"Savor the Veal" is an expression that means to love something while you can because it will soon be gone. Veal, of course, being a delicacy among meats (this from Folle, the vegetarian, but so they tell me), and it is expensive, so you have to savor it.

I've always thought that was a very thoughtful title for the last episode. The cast had such a special relationship that they had to savor the veal before it was lost.

@folle: Thanks for your help. That is indeed a very touching and toughtful title for the final episode, both regarding the T/A relationship and the cast's.
