Hi all!

I was surfing the web this morning and I came across an article about Judith. Of course, I don't know how reliable it is...it was from TV Insider and it was in the gossip section...

JUDITH LIGHT TELLS ZITS WHO'S THE BOSS!

"Acne-cream hawker Judith Light has no shame about cashing in on your facial flaws. The Proactive Solution spokeswoman--who played ad-whiz Angela on "Who's the Boss?" from 1984-92 feels she's saving America's skin in her late-night infomericals. "If the product hadn't worked for me, I wouldn't have sold it, because my integrity is on the line."

Not that she didn't worry about, ahem, blemishing her rep as an actress. "For me, this was the wackiest thing that had come my way." Light admits. "I was like, 'Ack! I don't want to do an acne product.' But then I thought, 'Wait a minute, I could be of service to millions of people.' Now, people are talking about adult onset acne. They're not in the closet anymore." (And this is a good thing?)

This fall, Light returns to Law and Order: Special Victims Unit in her recurring role as Elizabeth Donnelly. "She's the new head of the Special Victims Unit," the thesp says, "and she basically is somebody who kicks your a## if you're not doing your job!" Given this Boss lady's penchant for Italian men--she shared on-screen Tony Danza--might she and SVU stud Chris Meloni combine police work and play? Cracking up, Light laments "Not that I know of right now!"

Fortunately, she was able to channel any sexual frustration in to a good cause this summer. "I went to South Africa to do an AIDS trek," Light says, "an we raised $1.3 million We left half in South Africa and gave half to research for a vaccine here in the U.S. We hiked on boulders for seven days in the Cedarbrook wilderness, on the sourthwestern coast. They call it 'bouldering'-- who knew it had a speical name?"

They were a little mean to her in the first half of the article about Proactive but I thought that it gave some pretty good quotes for her upcoming role in SVU and her expedition to South Africa. Just thought I'd let you guys know.... :)
