No Emmy For Katherine Helmond

Katherine Helmond did not receive an Emmy this year for her guest appearances on "Everybody Loves Raymond", but as they say it´s an honor even to be nominated and it is no shame to lose out against Cloris Leachman in this catergory. :)

I believe they have a seperate category for guest appearences.Since she was not a regular,she didn't qualify for the particular award.It's a shame,but really,I thought she was much better in WTB?.I love Everybody Loves Raymond,but I didn't think Katherine was acting to her true potential in the show.Of course,that's not her fault,or the producers.It's just that she plays a more down to earth,motherly,almost normal person on E.L.R,opposed to her zany,sex-obsessed character on WTB?.

She DID qualify she just lost to Gloris Something-or-other. I didn't even KNOW she was NOMINATED so when she lost I was still like, "oh my goodness, she was nominated for an Emmy! Wow!"
