Tony Danza

Hello!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I just read in
Entertainment Weekly that Tony Danza is scheduled to
be on the Caroline Rhea show on Friday October 10th.
I know most of you cant stand her but I just thought
you might want to watch it just to see him.

thanks for the heads up! usually i check tonydanza's web page to check out if he's doing anything and when, BUT the only problem is is that sometimes they'll post it BUT they will post it like a day or two before the date so if you're not checking his site often you don't know about it until it's too late.

Hello!

Actually the magazine only lists the day and the guests who
are supposed to appear for that day. I was just going to turn
on her show Friday morning and see if he'll be on and if not
then I was going to check again at midnight because you
never know with these talk shows. I guess he can be on Regis
and Kelly on the same day Madewy. It seems like the celebrities
make the rounds to all of the shows in the same city on the
same day or close to it. At least that is what Iv'e noticed in the
past.

It was my pleasure Madewy! I do have to say that I for one
am glad that Tony decided to grow out his hair long again. It suits
him so much better than the buzz cut he was sporting for awhile
now.

The time for The Caroline Rhea Show is really getting confusing. Since it took the place of WTB at midnight on ABC Family channel, I set my VCR to record on Thursday night midnight and Friday night midnight, just in case. Tony wasn't on last night (Thursday), so I was counting on him being on tonight.
I was checking Tony's web site for something today and linked to the Caroline Rhea site to look at her TV schedule. It showed that in my area TCR Show is on at 2:00 A.M. on a local channel. Now I'm not sure if Tony was on last night at 2 A.M., or if he will be on tonight at 12 midnight. What I'm hoping is that the midnight show is a repeat of the original network airing, and he will still be on tonight. Clear as mud?
Has anyone seen Tony yet on TCR Show? Since it comes on at so many different times, thought someone might have caught it already. Guess we'll hear some comments in the next day or so. If you see it, please share with us what your thoughts were. :)

It was shown in my area at 4:00p.m. today and will be repeated at midnight on the ABC Family channel.

Since you saw him on LIVE w/Regis you know how he's looking. Actually, I like him better with the really short cut (as on the back of his CD cover). He sang 'That's All' again. He chatted a little more with her than with R & K. He expanded on his story about his 15 year old driving in seven months. Apparantly her birthday is May 8 and she will turn sixteen then.
He spoke a little about recording with his little one who will be ten next month.

When he talks about them driving or dating he sounds JUST like Tony Micelli. Caroline Rhea mentioned WTB?. Tony Danza really didn't. CR mentioned, about five times, how great he looks and that he seems to be getting younger looking instead of older.

Sad to say, but I really think the idea of a reunion is dead. From what he said it sounds like he is looking in other directions. He seems to want to really make a career shift towards singing (and dancing) and even mentioned trying to sell a 'variety' show (as in The Perry Como show or the old Dean Martin show---my words, not his) to television. Who knows, he just might be successful in doing that down the road!?! He is a determined man when he wants to be.

PS: He will be having dinner at Elaine's in NY City tonight, in case anyone wants to grab a plane and a Taxi. I believe it's on Second Ave. :lol:

Thanks a lot for the review Madewy. It's always helpful because my VCR didn't graduate from the "Recording My Owner's Programs Accurately" school and sometimes it doesn't understand exactly what it is I want it to do. Just hope tonight isn't one of those times. I think I can stay awake long enough to watch Tony tonight, but it's always nice to have a tape that can be wound and rewound time after time, whenever the mood strikes. And who needs to be nudged twice to find time and reason to watch Tony??!! :D

Oh, and I'll bet Elaine's has an extra large dinner crowd this evening! We have a few members in that area. I wonder where they will be tonight? :D

Why does he just sing "That's All?" i want him to sing the others too.

I saw the show and i enjoyed the conversation between the two. I also thought tony looked GORGEOUS! oh my gosh! blue does tremdeous justice for him :P and i got a kick out of what he said about teaching his daughter how to ride a bike and then a stick. My dad was NOT a very good driving teacher(paranoia i think lol) so i can picture tony in the front acting just like MY dad did when i was 15. . .

but then again she got to drive his sportscar. . . can i trade dads? LOL :D
