Ok,coicidentky, today I woke up with a migraine headache(I've had them since I was 2)and today I watched a documentary on the women of Charmed.Knowing Alyssa was one of them,I decided to watch it-I had nothing better to do.It was awesome! It looked like such a great show that I had never really payed attention to before. And,Alyssa didn't look as bad as I've seen her before. So now,I can't wait to watch it on Fri(I have to tape it cuz I have ahockey game @8).Anyway,if anyone wants to see the documentary I believe it's on the STAR channel. It's Called:In Focus and will air again today at 4pm.

Hello she'stheboss!

Iv'e only seen charmed once and I thought it
looked like an O.K. show. I watched the special on
E! called "The Women of Charmed" which was pretty
interesting but i'm not really a fan of Alyssa these
days so I probably won't watch the show again. I
was wondering what you meant when you said that
Alyssa didn't look as bad as you've seen her before?
Were you refering to her physical looks or her acting
abilities? I know she was in a few movies that I
thought were terrible, no offense to any Alyssa fans.

Oh she's the boss I forgot to ask you if you've ever
tried those Mentholatum patches called Migraine Ice?
My sister uses them and they always seem to help
her tremendously.

Typecasting is a terrible thing. Actors, actresses may never act again in anything different after doing a long running series, a hit movie, etc. Simply because everyone expects them to "be" a certain way. When we see them doing something else it seems just a little unreal.

Alyssa is doing what she thinks is necessary to make sure that people think of Alyssa Milano when they see her. Not Samantha Micelli. Not the sweet little girl we all know and love from WTB. I'm sure the continued success in syndication of WTB is a major pain to Alyssa, simply because so many people continue to associate her with WTB. Matter of fact the latest article of FHM makes prominent metion of WTB. I'm pretty sure that as a secondary player in WTB, she wouldn't have made a lot of money, from the series, or from residuals. She is trying very hard to create a new public persona and career on her own.

BTW, just watched an episode of Charmed. Seems to me that she's still stuck with "cute" to a certain extent. Cute with a thin veneer of maturity stuck on top. That may be just my perceptions. Could be that I am so use to seeing her one way, that I still see the old through the new.

Charmed is one of my favorite shows... I love it almost as much as WTB?. I like how it's funny and dramatic at the same time. The first time I watched it I expected to see Samantha Micelli... and was I in for a surprise! I couldn't believe how Alyssa looked. I'm not saying that she looks bad...just that I agree with She's The Boss in saying that she dresses too "revealing". But I think she's a great actress, and she's actually the reason I started watching Charmed in the first place.
