This scene takes place in the narrow corredor of the train, outside the sleeping compartments, after the mud slide has caused it to stop. Tony is yelling at the conductor to do something about it.

Conductor: (obviously sick of Tony) Please, sir, we're stuck here. There's no way to clear the tracks before day light!

Tony: How about buckets? We'll get big buckets and scoop our way out! I'm a great scooper! One time, I'm on this leaky dingy, you should have seen me scooping!

(Angela comes out of her couchette)

Angela: Tony, Tony, they're doing the best they can! The best thing you can do is try and get some sleep.

Tony: (frustrated and exhausted) Yeah, well, well, what if Chappy's a snorer. You know, he looks like a snorer. (gesturing at his nose)

Angela: (rubbing Tony's arm) Don't worry, we'll get there. By the way, you're going to be wonderful tomorrow. ((They exchange a mini-"look")

Tony: (sincerely) Thanks Angela. Goodnight.

(Tony enters his couchette, where there's a hanger on the door that he doesn't see. Chappy is entertaining. The scene picks back up with ABC's version, but misses a few lines.)

Chappy: Tony!

Tony: Hello Chappy. And Friend.

Chappy: Excuse me Florence, my bunkie and I've got to have a talk.

Florence: Hurry back!

Chappy: I will!

(Tony and Chappy outside the sleeping compartment)

Chappy: Tony! You missed the signal!

Tony: What signal?

Chappy: The hanger on the door! (pointing at the hanger) It means, if this room's a rockin', don't come a knockin'!

Tony: (Danza trying very hard not to laugh and the audience howles) Chappy, this is my room too! I need my rest. I didn't sleep at all last night. I've got a big day tomorrow!

Chappy: Well, with any luck, I'm going to have a big night tonight! (beat) All right. I'll tell her to leave if that's what you want. (Chappy makes a really sad face at Tony)

The next scene begins with Tony making the same really sad face at Angela when she opens the curtain after he knocks at her door.

Then when Mona and Sam come in and find Tony and Angela in the bed together, Mona's line is missing big surprise).

Angela: Did you already tell them this is not what it looks like?

Tony: Listen, Chappy needed his space and I needed a place to bunk.

Sam: So why didn't you use the upper bunk?

Tony: It's stuck! It wouldn't open!

(Mona taps the bunk and it falls open)

Tony: I, I must have loosened it last night.

Mona: I think you loosened a couple of things last night!

Then, a few minutes later, there is a scene missing when the family is entering the Senate. They are at a security station and Mona sets off the metal detector. The guard who is in charge is a handsome man.

Mona: You know, a metal detector is so impersonal (puts her hands up as if being arrested). Maybe you should (beat) pat me down.

(Angela just gives Mona that look she always gives Mona when Mona is being Mona...They enter the chambers.)

Thanks for transcribing that Folle! I knew there were several lines missing from ABC Family's version (of course...there always is), but those were pretty hilarious. I would've loved to see Chappy say "...if this room's a rockin', don't come a knockin'!" and see how Tony Danza reacted, as you stated.

Why do you think ABC Family cut out the thing about the 'scooper?' (Before Tony sees the hanger on Chappy's door.) I didn't think that was too bad....but you know ABCF...

Thanks again, Folle! And Jason, too, for making this part of the forum. :)

I thought that room rockin, knockin comment from Chappy was actually shown.

I don't think it was...I just watched that episode after reading Folle's transcript, and no, they didn't show that room rocking/knocking part. It cut right from Chappy simply telling Tony he should've seen the "sign" (the hanger) to Tony going into Angela's room.
