When they are in the judges office, I know they come up with other grounds for anullment. One that I know ION cut out was being crazy, which starts the gettysburg address thing that Tony repeats later. (Stupid editors...it made no sense), but isn't there at least one other that ION cut out?

Sorry I was os quite yesterday...I was out of town on business all day and it's hard to post from my Blackberry!

I can think of two cases:

1) Before the midway commercial break, notice that the audience doesn't start clapping before it fades to break. I don't remember much about it, but I think the IRS agent leaves, and I think Angela says something like, "Wow, we might actually be married." Tony responds with something funny, but I can't remember what.

2) After Tony starts reciting the Gettysburg address, the judge says something like he needs to watch where he's quoting Lincoln--after all, he's in the South!

I don't think just ION cut them out. I remember back in the days of syndication when I was a teenager, that pre-commercial scene had already been edited. Can't remember about #2.

I'm just going by memory here, but I think it was only three. The crazy one, the marriage unconsummated ("Hey that can't go down on my permanent record!"), and the getting caught in a technically one. I have the original episode. If it any different, I'll let you know later.

Just from memory here but there is a line in which Tony becomes angry at the IRS lady and says "I pay your salary" (which prompts Angela's line to Tony later when talking with the judge. Then when they are going over the grounds for the annulment, insanity is mentioned and Tony says something to the effect of 'I'm crazy. I'm Abraham Lincoln' and the judge says something like "you must be crazy if you are going to call yourself Abraham Lincoln down here" which prompts him to start the Gettysburg Address when the judge says he won't grant the annulment. Two jokes ruined due to the bad editing job!

Here is how I remember it.
After Tony says: Well we got a saying back in Brooklyn and it goes something like this: OH Yeah?!
Angela: Tony please!!
The IRS Lady gets up and heads to the door.
Tony: Don't you have anything better to do than harass hard working Americans with these harebrained schemes? (I'm not sure on this)
Angela: Tony wait before you say something you're going to regret.
Tony: I'll have you know Ms Foster, that I pay YOUR salary.
Angela: Like that Tony, something like that!!
Ms Foster: Let me make this perfectly clear. When 1 state considers you married than all 50 states consider you married. Hence the Federal Government considers you married. Therefore in the eyes of the IRS and me your humble employee you are husband and wife!!
*She leaves*
Angela: So we're married?!
Tony: Yeah and for our honeymoon we're going to prison!!

Just a heads up. If you want to see the scene I transcribed go to Youtube. :) There is also a few missing scenes from An Affair to Forget (the kitchen scene with Tony, Angela, and Sam)
