I was catching up on my backlog of WTBs on the DVR last night and was sad to see that they lopped off the ending of Allergic to Love. So, for those who would like to know what Angela had to say about Tony's doubts, here's what happens after "Now we can get mawwied!" and the hug:

Angela: I'm so relieved!

Tony: Yeah, and you thought I had doubts!

Angela: Yeah...wait a minute. What was that laundry list you just rattled off a minute ago?

Tony: Slip of the lip? Awww...well, look, can you say you have no doubts?

Angela: Well, maybe a few.

Tony: You do?!? Like what?

Angela: Well, Tony, we're so different and I know that opposites attract, but in the long run, is that gonna be a problem?

Tony: That's a good one. I should be worried about that one too.

Angela: And, Tony, I worry that someday maybe you would want...

Tony: (cutting her off) Oh no, Angela, please, I don't wanna hear it. I don't wanna hear it! I mean, doubts shouldn't stop us. There are no guarantees. So, lets just jump into this thing, blindly and stupidly, hoping to heck that we can beat the overwhelming odds and make this crazy thing fly!

Angela: Well, when you put it that way, how can I say no?

Tony: Kiss me, Angela.

Angela: Maybe I should give you a shot first.

Tony: Why? There's so much more to love this way.

(Angela hesitantly kisses Tony's swollen lips as we fade out.)

Not as important, but they also cut a couple lines out of the tag too. After Angela sees Tony's parents' wedding picture and says, "Oh my," here's what happens:

Angela: What a...handsome woman.

Tony: Yeah, she sure was a knock-out back then. Yeah, she was. But, you know--you know...I think--I think I look more like my father, huh? (mimics his father's expression).

The End

A side note on Allergic to Love: I don't know if this has ever been discussed on here before, but I've always been fascinated with the order this episode was aired in. If you look at the end of the previous two episodes (Mrs. Al and Who's the Boss?), they are dated 1992. So is the one after this (Tony Micelli, This is Your Other Life). But this one is dated 1991. And, I may be imagining this, but I could swear Sam's hair is shorter in this episode than the previous ones. My personal theory is that this episode was going to air a few earlier, but then they decided to change the plot line of the season and the re-writes began. They probably didn't know if they should still air this episode, as it is wedding-focused and they were writing out the wedding. But they must have decided to go ahead with it anyway, just a few weeks later than initially planned. I kind-of feel like it is a glimpse down the "path not taken" during the eighth season. Also makes me wonder if there were any other completed episodes that never made it to air. Probably not, but you never know...

Oh man! Did they cut all that out?? That's my favorite part of that whole episode! That's a shame.

Interesting side note thoughts, amorefan. All I can tell you is that according to the production code on the episode it was made between This Sold House and Tony Can You Spare a Dime, and was the last episode produced in December of 1991. Not that any of that means anything...they seem to air episodes out of production order all the time in television. I like your thoughts better. :)

I was so bummed when ION cut out that part. :( Thank you for transcribing it for those who have never seen it. :)

On a side note I wonder what Angela was going to say when Tony interrupted her? Angela: And Tony I worry that someday maybe you would want....
Tony:Oh no Angela please. I don't want to hear it.

So what was she going to say? Did Tony perhaps know what she was going to say and that is why he *didn't want to hear it* because maybe they had discussed whatever it was before?

Thank you so much Amorefan for transcribing that scene! It's such a shame they cut it out. Always the best parts...

I always feel like she's going to say something to the effect of, "Someday maybe you would want to pursue your teaching career..." Perhaps foreshadowing Iowa? Of course, they probably didn't know they were going to have that storyline at the time they did this episode, so who knows?

Anneli, thanks for the production code info. Nice to finally confirm that they at least filmed that episode earlier in the season. 4 episodes earlier. Any missing production codes from that list? :)

Nope, no missing codes...24 episodes for season 8. Nice try though! :D

Just as an aside, you can find production codes and airdates in the episode guide on this site next to the episode number and name. There's a b there for broadcast date, and a pc there for production code, or the order that the episodes were filmed. :)

Thanks for transcribing that. That is alot to cut out. Stupid ION! The best parts always get cut out, but I think its cut out on the Nick at Nite version too because I don't remember that.
