Jason and Chris is there any chance you could get 2 songs from Tony and the Dreamtones and put them on the site? I would like the one that Angela sang in the kitchen and the song at the end of the episode it would be great if you could get them.

It's a crying shame that they only did two shows with the Dreamtones. I loved those guys, and I loved hearing them sing!

I had to find those songs sung by other groups as soon as I heard them! In fact, on occation I can be heard singing them in the shower.
What can I say? They're catchy!

The second one, and it's true, if you don't spell it right, you'll never find it, is Rama Lama Ding Dong.

Their complete song "repetoir" is as follows,

"Tony and the Dreamtones"
Who Wrote the Book of Love
Rama Lama Ding Dong
One more, that sadly I don't know the name of, but they lyrics are
Ba da ba da boom di ay di ay
(Ba da ba da boom di ay di ay)
Guardian Angels up above
(Send someone, someone to love)
Make her fine and debonair
(Deep blue eyes and golden hair)
Ba... This is where Angela interrupts them.

"Between a Rock and a Hard Place"
Remember Then
Don't Let Go

I want more!!! Tony's still singing, maybe he'll realease something a little more do-wopy (not a real word, I know). Hey, a person can dream can't they!!

The real name for The Dreamtones acappella group is The Mighty Echoes. For anyone who is interested, they have three CD's for sale on this web site:

Doo Wop Shoo Bop Acapella CDs Available

Here are a couple of excerpts describing the group:

All working on the LA production of '1284', these actors found their voices worked well as a group. They made their debut on 'The Roger Steffens Show' (KCRW, May 88) which lead to being cast on 'Who's The Boss?' with Tony Danza. They appeared as Tony & the Dreamtones. More shows followed as their popularity increased. Now you can enjoy them in the comfort of your home!

"The precision of their ineffable sound comes from many long hours of rehearsals, which allows the group its practised informality on stage. Impeccable timing and stagecraft mixed with the exquisite song choices and a heartily blended brew of vocal bomblast make for one of the best a cappella groups at work today; the truly mighty, Mighty Echoes."
