^^^ Doctor Who is awesome, and it's such an exciting time to be a fan too.

I'm currently near the end of Season 5. I may finish it this weekend.
My favorite Doctor so far is 10. David Tennant was just brilliant...and Rose, what's not to love about her. My favorite companion. I balled like a baby at her last episode. BALLED!

Love knows no distance! <3

This topic is quite funny to read from the beginning (I think it started in 2006) and see all the shows named that were popular at the time, and even see that the list I made is still pretty much true because the shows I love are from 30 or 40 years ago!

Comcast On Demand has changed my TV viewing habits though. I no longer have to watch things in primetime, I can watch things there whenever I feel like it, so I don't miss so much anymore working evenings all the time. The sad thing is, I found there's not that much on right now that I like, so it doesn't matter so much. Some newer shows I like:

BBQ Pitmasters is a lot of fun on a lazy day off
Master Chef -- same
Paranormal Witness -- one of the scarier ones of all the ghost shows on... sometimes this show is downright creepy
The Middle -- it's not anywhere near as good as some of the older sitcoms but it has its moments.

Speaking of, I saw some ads for fall sitcoms and there's a few that look like they might be pretty good. I'm excited for Robin Williams's new one, The Crazy Ones I think it's called, and that one called The Millers looks like it might be funny. Dads could be funny too, if they don't mess it up.

If you liked this, Robin, Loretta herself did an episode of Celebrity Ghost Stories where she spoke about all the things that go on at her ranch and all the stories behind the hauntings and it was also really good. Lots of history connected to the property but also to her, and she talked about all of it. Usually they put 3 or 4 celebrities in an episode, but for her they dedicated the whole hour. The rerun it every so often if you watch for it. According to this episode list, (scroll down) it looks like it aired in Aug of 2011, and according to the TV Listings link at the top of that same page it looks like they're re-running it in a few days on Thurs August 8. If you miss it, keep an eye on that list to see when they'll show it again. They rerun episodes pretty often.

David Tennant is a beautiful human being. He's my favorite Doctor as well. It took me some time to warm up to Rose; wasn't too keen about her during Eccleston's time. My favorite's Donna, although I do like the new companion, played by Jenna Loiuse Coleman. Hers was the first companion change for me in real time, while watching the show as it's airing. Crazy to think the same thing will happen with the 12th Doctor!

I just started watching Doctor Who yesterday, so I am only 7 episodes into it. I like it so far. It'll be awhile before I get to the end though.

It's a great show, glad you're enjoying it! When I started, I watched it out of order. I eventually caught up and went in order, but it's definitely the kind of show where you can skip around. Heck, the Doctor does, so why not me?

We have really gotten on the Netflix bandwagon, and most of our tv habits are based on that. We have watched and become fans of:

Breaking Bad
Sons of Anarchy
Burn Notice
Rules of Engagement
Hell on Wheels

We do like pulling up some "older" sitcoms and shows from the 90s and 80s. My husband also likes watching the old Star Trek.

My husband and I are both currently hooked on "Duck Dynasty". It's such a great show and from what I've read one of the few "real" reality shows these days. We like "Call of the Wildman" on Animal Planet too. We also watch "Master Chef" and are anxious for "Nashville" to return this fall. I love seeing places and going "oh, I know where that is" (and often it's only a few miles from my house)!

Angela: You would ruin our friendship for love?

Tony: In a second. I'd throw it in the garbage. I'd spit on it. I'd flush it down the toilet.

Angela: (Touched) Oh, Tony, that is so beautiful.
