No apology necessary, Madewy - but my first thought was: 'oh no, Madewy's in a cast now!!' - then I realized......whew!

Yes Thomas is only about Thomas - he's the one who brought Pamook to Mary's bedroom, to keep the Turk silent about Thomas' misreading of the Turk's sexual orientation. I wonder if Thomas would also stab O'Brien in the back? The 2 are always in cahoots, but self-preservation usually wins out.

Oh yes, Anneli, try OnDemand - they may have some of the older episodes. I know it's hard to jump in season 2, but the acting & writing are definitely worth it. Maggie Smith is enough for me alone. I won't give out any spoilers, but I followed peoples' reviews as season2 progressed in the UK & they generally agreed: the plot twists are silly & outlandish at times, Maggie Smith gets all the best lines, Mary's eyebrows deserve a show of their own.

So who has Isis as their favorite character? She definitely wanted that ping-pong ball!

Please, no spoilers on tonight's episode. Some kind of championship football game on so I have to tape the 2:00 am showing! Will watch it tomorrow afternoon. Blech!

OK, I won't spoil anything, but is anyone else starting to love Mrs. Patmore?

Just finished watching chapter III. Wow. Great show this week.

Can someone tell me why O'Brian, Lady Cora's maid, is such a biatch? I'd like to send her to the front!

^^^Well, I think it's deep-rooted in her psyche....she hates playing servant to upper-crust, but she has no other skills. So she's stuck. And she's been wrong so many times! She misconstrues almost everything, but at the same time she thinks she's the smartest one around....hey, wait a minute, that reminds me of several people I work with!

Since I don't know who's seen this tonight, I'll say just one thing ---
Maggie Smith should get an Emmy

Oh, I do have something else. I wish the DVD wasn't so expensive or I'd order it and watch the whole second season in one sitting.
